As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day and its still standing. Why you ask? Well its because they set it with natural stone pavers, stone pillars, corner stone, cobble stone, stone lasts! Now its counter part, "Concrete" tends to crack and spawl over time (I've seen it happen as soon as a few months). Its not a totally inefficient product, it serves its purposed in the concrete jungles of the city where its cheap to use and not totally offensive to the eye. But you say stamped patio? I say anyway you dress up a turd, its still a turd. Spit shine it all you want, a polished turd is still a polished turd at the end of the day. Pavers will always stand up against the test of time when it comes to comparing to concrete. What's even better you ask? Natural is by far the best. When I set flag stone or Ohio mix granite boulders, they will out last doomsday. I always tell all my clients that pavers are very clean and reliable, but being man made will not last forever. Natural is your greatest friend when coming up against the test of time. I hope this helps with making an informed decision on your next project.
